Paul Fishman on Starting a Self-Love Diet

Why is it so challenging to overcome the fear of loving yourself?

Today's guest, Paul Fishman, is behind the "self-love is the best medicine" movement, and he wants us to know that each and every one of us matters. Paul’s work in the world is centered around utilizing self-love as our greatest strength, and using that strength to accomplish our goals.

At the age of 25, Paul came out of the closet after years of living in fear and feeling as if he needed to hide his truth. He found himself 75 pounds overweight, $75,000 in credit card debt and suffering from severe depression. In overcoming that, he was able to discover that his love for himself was the missing piece to the equation that changes everything.

In this episode, Paul explains how we are overthinking what the term self-love actually means, and how we can let go of how we think self-love should look, trust our intuition and empower ourselves to do the things we’ve always dreamed of.
